Questions You Might Have

What should I expect in our first coaching session?

Our first talk is a gentle chance to get to know each other. There is no pressure to 'perform' or hide how you think. We will listen to your story, talk about what feels hard right now, and see if our coaching style feels like a safe fit for you.

Do I need a formal medical diagnosis to start?

No, you do not need a piece of paper to start. We respect self-identification and understand that getting a formal diagnosis can be hard. If you feel that your brain works in a neurodivergent way, you are more than welcome here.

How is coaching different from traditional therapy?

Think of therapy as focusing on the 'why' of the past, and coaching as focusing on the 'how' of the future. We work as partners to build practical routines, sensory-friendly spaces, and communication tools that work for your specific life.

I'm new to the neurodiversity community. Where do I begin?

Welcome! It can feel overwhelming at first, but you are not alone. A great place to start is our 'Articles' section below. We focus on clear language that helps you understand your brain without heavy medical jargon.

Can you help me talk to my employer about my needs?

Yes. We help you identify what you need to do your best work and how to ask for those changes clearly. Our goal is to help you feel confident as you advocate for a workspace that respects your focus and energy.
